New Song!!!
Saturday Show!

It’s been absolutely ages (again), but we’re playing this Saturday in Dalston. Should be fun / sketchy. We’ll have a couple of new songs too.
Show Tonight

First show in absolutely ages tonight. We haven’t practised. We haven’t even seen each other since this. Should be interesting.

The awesome Limited Means are playing too, so come just for them
Sorry

Hey dudes, really gutted but we won’t be able to play the Gravesend show this Sunday. It’s our fault we don’t know how to use a calendar. Go and pick up the My Third Leg album and throw some gang signs for the awesome Limited Means.
Soz :(
ASFAR Review

Here’s a nice little review of the split from ASFAR. Don’t agree with him on LM, but I totally think he needs to check out Rivalries!
TORN OUT/LIMITED MEANS – ‘Loyalties’ (self-released) RICHARD H
I’ve got the feeling that I’ve either reviewed Torn Out before or seen them supporting at a show at some point as their simplistic acoustic songs sound strangely familiar. It’s not dissimilar to Beans on Toast or Great Cynics with songs about waking up with a hangover, hanging out with your friends and propping up the bar. For me it’s the stronger half of the split, and I look forwards to seeing them playing at some point. Limited Means are a lot more twee when they play acoustic then Torn Out. I’m sure the Boy/Girl vocals on Honest Much will appeal to fans of Laura Marling-esque folk more than me, although I can appreciate it as non-intrusive protest music suitable for most gatherings. I don’t think a two piece really suits the songs as the arrangements are screaming for the full band treatment. For £3 it’s a good little split (available from http://www.tornout.co.uk/).
It’s an awesome zine, go buy a copy here: http://ashortfanzineaboutrocking.bigcartel.com/
All our new songs are just going to be covers of this.
New Songs. New CD.

So we’ve been writing a tonne of new songs recently, with the aim to put out a proper album at the end of the year. But we’ve been having so much fun with the new stuff, that we’re going to put out a nice little free CD-R / download in the meantime. It’ll have a few new songs on it and maybe some covers. We’re going to record it on my laptop (not pictured), so it’ll sound pretty dirty. But that’s how we like it. I reckon we’ll do a fold out poster to go with it to. More soon.
Free Loyalties!!!
We’ve just put our 3 tracks from the split with Limited Means up for free download. If you’re cool though you can still buy the actual real CD for £2 (inc. p&p) from here, or at a show.

Heckler Benefit - This Saturday

We’re playing this benefit on Saturday for the lovely Out of Step boys. The Dissociates are absolutely blinding, so come down just for them. It’s dead near the station in Dalston.
RETAIL!
We used to play this cover of Retail by Braintax, but we never got round to recording it. Here’s us playing it at Vince’s flat last year. Awesome.
